When should I arrive on Sunday?
Our services start on time, so you can plan to arrive several minutes early. One of our greeters can answer any questions you might have, and will give you a printed worship guide to help you easily follow along with the service. We invite you to stick around after the service for one of our favorite traditions- coffee and bagel time!
What about children and youth?
Children are always welcome in our worship services! They are not a distraction, but an important part of the church. We also have a variety of programs for children on Sunday morning. Learn more about our Children's Ministry (click here) for children birth through 5th grade. Our youth, 6th to 12th graders, worship with our congregation on Sunday morning, and our Youth Group meets on Sunday evenings. Learn more about our Youth Group (click here) .
What are the services like?
We are a liturgical church. Our worship services incorporate both ancient and modern music, language, and art. They include prayers, creeds, and scripture readings that have been used in the Church's worship since its earliest days. Specifically, we worship in the Prayer Book tradition of the Anglican Church, which includes the sacraments (the Lord's Supper and baptism), singing (both hymns and praise songs), and the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. All of these things free us to worship God with all that we are - our hearts, minds, and bodies! Our printed worship guide helps you follow along easily.
What should I wear?
Come as you are, however you feel most comfortable. People at Incarnation dress in a variety of ways, from more formal to more casual.
I still have some questions. Who can I ask?
Email Beth (parishadmin@theincarnation.org), our Parish Administrative Assistant, with any additional questions you have. She can answer your questions or connect you with the person who can.
