Welcome to Incarnation

New to Incarnation?

We’re glad you’re interested in learning more about our church, whether you’ve visited a few times or are planning to visit soon. Incarnation is filled with a wide variety of people, from a variety of backgrounds. We’re made up of those just exploring the Christian faith, and those who have been walking with Jesus for many years. We invite you to keep reading to learn more about our church and how you can get involved. We look forward to meeting you!

Worship

Our church gathers for worship every Sunday. We hold two services in English, at 9:00am and 10:45am. The early service is livestreamed on our youtube channel. Our 6:30pm service is in Arabic. This time is for prayer, singing, scripture and the Lord’s Supper. Sunday worship services are the easiest way to enter into the life of our church.  We invite children of all ages to join us in worship!

Small Groups

The Kingdom of God is primarily local. We gather in Small Groups geographically to share meals, listen and pray for each other and our neighbors. Small groups are the central way we serve one another and our community.

Essentials

Essentials is a 5-week Bible study that will introduce you to the heart and mission of our church. This study teaches the essentials of the Christian faith and is perfect for Christians and those who are exploring the faith.

What to Expect on Sunday Mornings

Our services start on time, so you can plan to arrive several minutes early. One of our greeters can answer any questions you might have, and will give you a printed worship guide to help you easily follow along with the service. We invite you to stick around after the service for one of our favorite traditions- coffee and bagel time!

Children are always welcome in our worship services! They are not a distraction, but an important part of the church. We also have a variety of programs for children on Sunday morning. Learn more about our Children’s Ministry (click here)  for children birth through 5th grade. Our youth, 6th to 12th graders, worship with our congregation on Sunday morning, and our Youth Group meets on Sunday evenings. Learn more about our Youth Group (click here) .

*Things are a bit different in the summer: no preschool or elementary Sunday programming, and youth meetings are usually offsite and less often than during the school year.

We are a liturgical church. Our worship services incorporate both ancient and modern music, language, and art. They include prayers, creeds, and scripture readings that have been used in the Church’s worship since its earliest days. Specifically, we worship in the Prayer Book tradition of the Anglican Church, which includes the sacraments (the Lord’s Supper and baptism), singing (both hymns and praise songs), and the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. All of these things free us to worship God with all that we are—our hearts, minds, and bodies! Our printed worship guide helps you follow along easily.

Come as you are, however you feel most comfortable. People at Incarnation dress in a variety of ways, from more formal to more casual.

Email Beth, our Parish Administrative Assistant, with any additional questions you have. She can answer your questions or connect you with the person who can.
