When we gather in person for worship, you can give cash or check in the the offering basket. If you choose to give cash, please consider placing it in an envelope with your name and mailing address so we can properly account for it and ensure you are eligible to deduct it on your taxes.
To give by electronic funds transfer (EFT) or automated clearing house (ACH), contact your bank. Not every bank makes this available fee-free, but many do.
Fees Associated with Electronic Giving
There are fees our church incurs with electronic giving methods. If possible, please use a low cost option.
If you are interested in other ways to give, please reach out to the church treasurer to discuss details.
You will receive an end-of-year giving statement by the end of January each year. Note that all donations sent by mail or by auto draft check must be postmarked on or before December 31 in order to count toward that tax year. Donations received by offering must be in the offering plate on the last Sunday of the calendar year to be counted toward that tax year. Finally, donations received through other methods (electronic transfer, PushPay, etc.) must be initiated on or before December 31 in order to be counted toward that tax year.
The gospel shapes every aspect of our lives, including the way we understand our finances and possessions. Christians are called to live counter-culturally, giving sacrificially and joyfully, because God has given everything for us. Therefore, we encourage those folks who follow Jesus to give as an act of faithful worship, supporting the needs of our church community.
If you have any questions about our finances, feel free to ask our treasurer.
