The Church of the Incarnation strives for unity around a basic expression of “mere Christianity”. Our Essentials class is designed to be useful for anyone who follows Jesus in any context. The course enables people with diverse experiences and expectations to more clearly understand the core beliefs and practices of Christian life together.
Essentials is offered twice a year during Fall and late Winter.

If you are not a Christian but would like to explore Christianity, Essentials is for you. It is also for those who are Christians but would like to grow in faith and knowledge. If you would like to become a member of The Church of the Incarnation or enter more deeply into our community, attending Essentials is an important step.
Each session includes a meal, teaching, and discussion. The course runs on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:30 pm, or Sundays from 12:30-3:00 pm for 5 consecutive weeks. The church will also provide childcare.
Each week covers a different topic about Christianity, including: gospel, worship, discipleship, community, and mission.
