Sunday School: The Sermon on the Mount
Beginning on January 24 and running for eight weeks, Mike Deaton will lead a class on Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5-7. The class will be held in the upstairs multipurpose room from 10:45 to 11:45am. In this greatest sermon ever preached, Jesus calls us to be a community of followers who are “the salt of the earth” and “the light of the world.” But how can we hope to do what He says? Jesus addresses our fears and weaknesses. He reminds us that our walk begins and ends with God’s grace and faithfulness, and He provides “little steps” to start us on the journey.
